Competitive Rank System

Overwatch 2 uses a 5-division system per rank. Each rank has 5 tiers (1–5), with rank 5 being the lowest within that rank.

Bronze

Learning the fundamentals. Focus on understanding each role's core responsibilities.

Silver

Building consistency. Work on reducing deaths and improving positioning.

Gold

The most populated rank. Team coordination starts to matter more.

Platinum

Above average play. Strong individual mechanics are key.

Emerald

Consistently strong fundamentals. Positioning and cooldown management separate you from Platinum.

Diamond

High skill level. Game sense and adaptation become critical.

Master

Top players. Near-optimal decision making and execution.

Grandmaster

Elite tier. Exceptional mechanics and deep game knowledge.

Champion

The pinnacle of Overwatch 2 ranked play.
